The IGRS has uploaded to its Members’ Area an enhanced index to the registers of the Roman Catholic parish of Ennis, Co. Clare, also known as Drumcliff. They were compiled by IGRS Fellow Terry Eakin and run from 1841 to 1900 for baptisms and 1837 to 1900 for marriages.
For baptisms, each entry notes the date of baptism and parents’ names; for marriages, each entry notes the date of marriage and both parties’ names. Between both registers there are just over 15,000 entries.
This record set is from a series of transcribed records presented to the Society by Terry Eakin, which will be uploaded over the coming months.
