One never knows what you will discover in your Family Tree!!

I’m fortunate that my Deasy ancestors are mentioned in Burke’s Irish Family Records However, I was puzzled by a birth record of a child born to Timothy Deasy and  his wife Anne Marie Barry in 1809 which I found in Kentish Weekly Post, as records show that Timothy died ‘without issue’. I decided to dig deeper and discovered that this birth was not as it appeared.  An excerpt  from the Caledonian Mercury Monday 06 September 1813  Mary Toland v T Deasy reveals all.
