The Ireland Branch will present another Zoom lecture on Saturday, 18th July, at 2pm.
Popular Irish writer Sinéad McCoole joins the IGRS Ireland Branch for a talk about the role of women in the War of Independence.
Sinéad is the author of several books including Easter Widows, which focused on the wives and partners of those men who were killed for their part in the 1916 Easter Rising, and No Ordinary Women, on revolutionary women. She is also the author of a biography of Lady Lavery, the influential society wife of Sir John Lavery.
Joining details for Zoom have already been sent by email to all IGRS members, worldwide. We have space for 100 attendees and of course are delighted to welcome our overseas members. There’s no cost for the talk.
