This year’s London Open Day and AGM will be held on Saturday 10 May.
As the last two years’ Open Days have been so successful we will be sticking to a similar format and the same convenient and comfortable venue (details below) near Notting Hill. We will also have a bookstall offering a selection of useful genealogical books that have become surplus to our Library’s requirements.
Here is the programme:

11:00 | : | DNA – Genetic Genealogy, with Dr Maurice Gleeson. |
12:00 | : | Irish Heraldry, with Gerard Crotty. |
13:15 | : | Lunch |
14:15 | : | IGRS AGM (All are welcome to attend, but only members may vote.) |
15:30 | : | Close |
Cost | : | For the morning & lunch: £25 members; £30 non-members. The AGM is free. |

Venue : 34 Chepstow Villas, Bayswater, London W11
Directions : The nearest Underground station is Notting Hill Gate. Emerging from Notting Hill Gate Tube Station follow the crowds to the right, heading for Portobello Road Market – this is well signposted. Follow crowds down the top end of Portobello Road (no antique stalls here). Chepstow Villas crosses Portobello Road just before you get into the Antique market proper. Turn right into Chepstow Villas and just one block down, on a corner on your left, you will notice a very large prominent red brick former convent – 34 Chepstow Villas is just past this building.
