New online lecture

The Ireland Branch held its AGM yesterday via Zoom and was joined by members around the world for lecture afterwards.

John Goodman spoke to us about British Record Sources during the War of Independence.

John is the chairman of the Leinster Regiment Ireland group and is an avid World War I historian.  He has researched WW1 documentaries for TV and written articles for various publications.  He has spoken at the UCC genealogy summer schools and is a regular speaker for the Dublin WFA.  He is a committee member of the Wicklow Historical Society and has been the Co. Wicklow representative on CIGO (Council of Irish Genealogy Organisations).

You can watch the lecture here:

The AGM is first and you can forward to about 21 minutes to watch John’s lecture from the start.

We're not around right now. But you can send us an email and we'll get back to you, asap.
