The Ireland Branch Summer Outing takes place on Saturday 29th July 2017
Visit to Monksgrange House & Gardens, Wicklow Gaol, Enniscorthy Castle & the Athenaeum Theatre
Cost per person: €60 (members) €65 (non-members) includes travel by coach, all entrance fees, morning refreshments and a special lunch.
The summer outing is always a special day for members to get together and have a great chat while learning about unique historical and genealogical resources. Most of the committee come along on the day so it’s also a way to engage with the active members of the society.
8:30 am: Coach departing from National Museum, Kildare St, Dublin 2.
10:00 Visit to Wicklow Gaol, with coffee and scones
12:45 Lunch at Monart House
14:30 Monksgrange House & Gardens
16:45 Enniscorthy Castle & the Athenaeum Theatre
17:45 Depart for Dublin
19:15 Approximate time of arrival back in Dublin.
