The Irish Genealogical Research Society is delighted to announce that its Early Irish Marriages Index has broken through yet another milestone with more than 47,000 records now uploaded. This means that just over 17,000 new records have been added since December last year.
When the number of brides, grooms and the numerous references to parents are combined, the total number of names runs to over 120,000! The index is free to search and can be found on the Society’s website, IrishAncestors.ie.
