Last year the Society announced that our annual journal The Irish Genealogist would move to a digital format, with an option for members to purchase, at additional cost, a print copy. Publication of the 2025 edition of The Irish Genealogist is approaching and we are now able to invite members to place an order for a print copy for this year.
We have sent an email to all those members who qualify, inviting them to place their orders for a print copy now. The price is £25, plus shipping costs for members living outside of the UK. Please check your inbox (and spam or junk folder if necessary) for this email.
To guarantee receipt of your print copy of the journal, purchases must be made by clicking on one of the ‘Buy Now’ buttons in the email. As this offer is limited at the moment to those who were members in 2025, you may be asked to login to the IGRS website before being directed to the product page. The number of copies ordered from the printers will depend on the level of demand received, and there may not be the opportunity to buy a copy after publication.
The journal is priced in GBP (Sterling) so if you are buying from another currency area, the rate of exchange will be whatever your bank or card provider is using at the time of purchase.
Every member for whom we hold a valid email address will, once again, receive a digital copy of the journal free of charge, so if you do not require a print copy of the 2025 The Irish Genealogist, you need take no action at present except to log onto our website to check and update, if necessary, your contact details.
