The Society's Ireland Branch held their open day on Saturday 18th May with 3 DNA themed talks.

The IGRS Ireland branch Open Day – DNA Fest took place last Saturday, 18 May 2024 in the Helen Roe Theatre, Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland (RSAI), Merrion Square, Dublin.

Despite the warm and pleasant weather outside an expectant crowd gathered and was enthralled by the fascinating presentations from Claire Bradley, Martin Curley and Paddy Waldron, which covered:

The day concluded with a Q&A by the presenters who fielded a wide-ranging variety of questions on their own presentations, on DNA testing and on other issues arising from genetic genealogy research.
