Next year the Irish Genealogical Research Society will celebrate the eightieth anniversary of its foundation, in 1936. While plans to mark this milestone are still in preparation, we can give early notice that one event will be a collaboration with the Cork Genealogical Society to host a one day genealogy seminar in Cork city.
Final plans for the day have yet to be confirmed, but the date will be Saturday, 19th March and will comprise a number of lectures, a workshop and the IGRS Ireland Branch's Annual General Meeting.
