The Society’s Annual General Meeting, followed by a lecture will take place online, via Zoom, on Saturday, 11th May 2024, at 2pm (GMT (or UTC) +1)

The Society’s Annual General Meeting will take place online, via Zoom, on Saturday, 11th May 2024, at 2pm (GMT (or UTC) +1)

This will be followed by the AGM Lecture at approximately 2:45pm (depending on the time required to complete the formal business of the General Meeting). Details of how to register for the AGM are given below – please do so as soon as you can and don’t leave it until the last moment.

For the AGM, the Agenda for this year’s meeting, the draft minutes for last year’s meeting, and a copy of the Treasurer’s Report for 2023 will follow shortly.

Please note that the AGM will be recorded for the purpose of minutes taking.

AGM Lecture

The AGM Lecture is titled: ‘Leading the Way: Michael Leader's Transcripts of County Cork Church of Ireland Parishes’. It will be given by Sharon Hintze, a member of the IGRS Library committee who will speak on the project to digitise the Society’s extensive collection of transcripts of parish records for Co. Cork compiled by the late Michael Leader
