Time

10:00am

Location

Dublin City Library & Archive
138-144 Pearse Street Dublin 2
Ireland

This year the IGRS is doing something a little bit special instead of our traditional Autumn lecture.

Many of our members have begun to dip their toes into the growing field of DNA testing. Interpreting the results can be a minefield, so why not book a slot on our workshop.

The day will have 2 talks and a number of consultation slots available. The morning talk will be on the third-party DNA website Gedmatch & how to put your results on to it. The afternoon talk will be on triangulation and how to use it to further your research.

Consultations will be on a one-to-one basis with one of our DNA experts. We encourage members to bring their own technology with their results available. However, we will also have a couple of laptops and tablets, so if you can’t bring your own device, then just bring your log-in for your results and we’ll take it from there!

Update 30/10/2019: The DNA day is fully booked. We’ve had a great response to this workshop. If you missed out this time, but would be keen to take part in a repeat workshop, please send Aileen Wynne an email registering your interest.
