The IGP website https://www.igp-web.com/ is dedicated to providing free Irish genealogy information.
It is divided into two parts, one for research aids and the other an archive of submitted material, each arranged county by county. In the talk, Aileen will guide the audience through what the site provides and how best to use it.
Aileen has been researching her family history for some 20 years. She was awarded the Diploma in Genealogy from University College Dublin in 2006 and is an active volunteer for several genealogy and historical groups. She also co-manages the IGP webpages and Facebook pages for counties Meath and Westmeath. When not hunting dead people, she can be found 'shooting dancers' as the official photographer for DanceSportIreland.
The talk was originally presented to the Ireland Branch of the Society in spring 2021 and is now released for all members to view by kind permission of Aileen. You must be a logged on paid up member to view the recording. The link to it can be found under the Members heading above.
