This coming St Patrick’s Day the IGRS will celebrate Ireland’s patron saint with an exciting celebratory draw for three free annual memberships for the Society. Anyone, anywhere in the world, can take part.

IGRS’ St Patrick’s Day Draw

The Irish Genealogical  Research Society was founded in 1936 and is known as the “Great Granddaddy of all Irish Family History Societies”. This accolade recognises its status as the world’s first and oldest society dedicated to the pursuit and study of Irish genealogy. 

This coming St Patrick’s Day the IGRS will celebrate Ireland’s patron saint with an exciting celebratory draw for three free annual memberships for the Society. Anyone, anywhere in the world, can take part. 

The benefits of membership are all listed in the following link, but briefly they include: a pdf of our annual journal, The Irish Genealogist, our monthly eBulletin, and our tri-annual Newsletter; access to our online indexes and databases; attendance at our Zoom talks and lectures; Members’ Forum; and special offers and discounts available only to IGRS members. We’ll be announcing the three winners on our website on the day after Patrick’s Day, Saturday, 19th March. For each winner, only their name and city, county or state will be published.

All runners-up will be offered, via email, a discount for an annual membership for 2025/2026.
