In 2021, Sharon Slater, in conjunction with Ormston House, released 'Women of Limerick', an interactive mobile phone app. The app brings the user on a self-guided walking tour of Limerick city, introducing women who have shaped the world through innovation, creativity and philanthropy. This talk will explore the process of taking history digital and will explore some of the forty women highlighted on the tour.
Sharon Slater is an award-winning historian. She is the author of multiple publications focusing on the history of County Limerick. She is currently the Historian-in-Residence at Ormston House.
